Media and Technology Support

When creating an online course, you will want to produce and/or import electronic media, such as still graphics, animations, video clips or audio clips.

If you are local to the Saratoga Springs area, you can take advantage of the media production services at Skidmore College. The Media Services department is equipped with workstations for scanning, graphics manipulation, and audio/video editing. Student interns are available for assistance with production.

Media Services is located on the second floor of Palamountain Hall, opposite the Business Department (beside Davis Auditorium).

Office Hours: Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
Graphics/scanning Area Evening Hours: 4:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
Main Phone: (518) 580-5940.

If you are not local to the area, you can access media on the Web to support your online course. Here are some resources to help get you started.
