Workshops
Academic Technology workshops are open to all members of the Skidmore community, free of charge. Workshops are designed to promote the effective use of popular computing applications.
Each workshop offers useful information on the subject matter offered by a knowledgeable instructor in a small class environment. They range from 60 minute information sessions to hours long hands-on sessions. All sessions held over the noon hour are part of our brown bag lunch series. Please feel free to bring your lunch along with you to the session.
Please note that some workshops include prerequisites or previous experience with a topic or application.
The workshop program is supported by many IT staff members. If you don't see a workshop for the topic you are looking for, please send your workshop idea to Kelly or request an individual appointment
Customized Technology Workshops
In addition to our regularly-scheduled workshops, we offer customized departmental or group training. This training is designed to meet the needs of groups that would like specialized instruction in one or more topics. To plan a session contact Kelly .
