Contact Brien Muller and Christian Tenczar at the help desk for troubleshooting advice and answers to
your computer and software questions. We resolve issues
by phone, help ticket, email, or in person at the help desk office.
We also refer employee tickets to IT technicians and consultants for more
extensive troubleshooting. Students may bring notebook computers (with the power supply) to us for quick troubleshooting and antivirus installation.
Common help desk issues include password problems, email setup and usage, wireless networking,
creating email lists, changing email list ownership,
virus attacks, library printing, Datastor access, and software questions.
If you are a student and your computer needs major work such as
hardware repairs or wiping and reinstalling the operating system,
we suggest that you check the status of your warranty. If the computer
is out of warranty, we can recommend a local vendor who provides
those services for a fee. You may also find your own support professional. The help desk cannot provide hardware
repairs and operating system reinstallation for privately owned computers.
