Agreement Version:
Campus Agreement 3
Work-at-Home
Program Overview
Under
the Microsoft Campus Agreement 3 (MSCA), Skidmore College
can now offer each eligible Skidmore faculty and staff member
rights to use selected
software products on one personal computer he/she owns, for
college-related work.
Only
the primary user of a Skidmore-owned computer on which a copy
of the software is installed, may obtain and install a second
copy of the software on a home computer. Use of any secondary
copy shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the Campus
Agreement under which the original copy was licensed.
Under
the Work at Home rules, Microsoft specifically identifies non-computer
users as ineligible to participate in the MCSA. For questions
concerning eligibility, please contact the Computer Depot.
Exclusions
and Limitations: Software available for home use is
provided as "is", which is simply a value-added component
of the Microsoft Campus Agreement for institutional use. Neither
Skidmore College/IT nor Microsoft, are responsible for installation
or technical support. Although limited, there are several "support"
options available.
