Kelly Schwarz enters her third season at the helm of the Thoroughbred Softball Program. In the first two years, the Thoroughbreds laid a foundation for the future of the program.
Prior to her arrival at Skidmore, Schwarz spent two seasons as an assistant softball coach at Smith College. While there, she received her Master’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Studies, a program that focuses solely on coaching collegiate women’s athletics. In addition to coaching softball at Smith, she worked in Athletics Administrations and was responsible for event management, sports information, and eligibility.
As an undergraduate, Schwarz was a two-sport student-athlete at Franklin and Marshall College, competing in soccer and softball. She received her Bachelor’s Degrees in Neuroscience and Business Management in 2001.

Carolyn Marchi begins her first year with the Thoroughbred program after spending the last five seasons as an assistant at Smith College. She has also served as a head coach at the high school level. She recieved both her bachelor's degree and master's degree at Springfield College, where she was also a standout on the softball team.

The Thoroughbreds added Jackie Hall to the staff in 2007 to work with pitchers. She has coached at Galway Central School and Saratoga Central Catholic and in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Hall, an established pitcher, dominated on the mound at Adirondack Community College in 2001 and 2002. A 2000 graduate from Saratoga Central Catholic, she is a certified Physical Education teacher, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Sage Collage of Albany
