Skidmore Men's and Women's Crew
The Skidmore College crew program has enjoyed 29 outstanding years of intercollegiate competition. Along the way it has developed into a premier small-college varsity program with a rich history. Skidmore rowers have won several New York State Championship medals and the women's varsity eight has been nationally ranked for the past four of the past five seasons.
Skidmore continues to grow, competing in the ECAC Intercollegiate Invitational, featuring the top regional crews from throughout the East.
Last season, Skidmore won two gold medals and one bronze medal in the New York State Championships, including the Men's Lightweight Eight, Women's Varsity Four, and Women's Varsity Pair.
Skidmore will compete for the Liberty League title this May. Both crews will also compete in the New York State championships and work to qualify for the ECAC championships. The women's varsity eight will also compete for a spot in the 2006 NCAA championships to be held in May. |
